What a lovely living room! It’s bright, airy, spacious, clean and elegant. Not to mention it’s comfy! I shot this space for @kachmardesign in Arlington. This wall was custom built to double as a movie theater. There’s a state of the art projector directly beneath the shelves that tucks away.

I shot this with three @elinchrom_ltd strobes on a @nikonusa Z9 with my trusty 24-70mm 2.8 lens. I bounced the light and used a large umbrella with a white sheet to help mimic natural daylight. I also placed a strobe outside of the room to shoot through the stained glass window to bring some more life into the room. It helps when everything is white to let the light bounce around. Thanks to @thefrarm for the big help in cleaning, styling and prepping the space for me to photograph!

This house was so much fun to shoot! Not only was it two blocks from my house which allowed me to walk to it with my cart full of gear, the weather was perfect, the homeowners were gracious and my clients were a dream. Traverse Architects brought their crew to help stylize each scene. Top Notch prepped each room by removing curtain rods and other extraneous objects to make things look as clean as possible. We were a well-oiled machine by the time 10am hit! It felt like I have been working the with these guys for years. Looking forward to sharing more work with this wonderful team. Had a great time photographing this stunning modern office space for @deannemcguinnessgroup in Chestnut Hill. The design was clean, minimal, and filled with natural light which was perfect for showcasing through architectural photography.
To highlight the texture and detail in the furniture and finishes, I used a multi-strobe lighting setup to balance the exposure and reduce harsh shadows from the large windows. I also bracketed exposures to retain both interior and exterior detail, then blended the final images in post-production for a polished look.
Big thanks to @winstonflowers for providing beautiful floral arrangements that brought warmth and vibrancy to the space which was essential for tying together the composition and visual storytelling.
