At peak foliage in the Berkshires, MA, I sent up the new drone to chase the last light of autumn. The air was crisp, the pond still, and the colors shimmered like they were alive. This is why I love New England, where every season feels like a story, and every fall reminds us how beautiful change can be. Watch the short video at the end to see it come to life.

I had the chance to photograph this stunning lakefront home designed by Phoenix Architects. To capture the perfect balance between natural light and interior glow, I timed the shoot right at dusk when the sky softens, windows warm up, and the house truly comes alive.

Careful lighting made all the difference here: blending the last tones of daylight with the interior illumination gives the home a welcoming, cinematic feel while highlighting its architectural lines.

What a lovely living room! It’s bright, airy, spacious, clean and elegant. Not to mention it’s comfy! I shot this space for @kachmardesign in Arlington. This wall was custom built to double as a movie theater. There’s a state of the art projector directly beneath the shelves that tucks away.

I shot this with three @elinchrom_ltd strobes on a @nikonusa Z9 with my trusty 24-70mm 2.8 lens. I bounced the light and used a large umbrella with a white sheet to help mimic natural daylight. I also placed a strobe outside of the room to shoot through the stained glass window to bring some more life into the room. It helps when everything is white to let the light bounce around. Thanks to @thefrarm for the big help in cleaning, styling and prepping the space for me to photograph!
